Why NemoRouter

One API key for every major LLM provider — with real cost control, audit trails, and tenant isolation built in.

Last updated

Most teams integrate each provider directly — separate keys, separate bills, separate SDKs, separate rate-limit ceilings. No unified spend view, no per-team budgets, no audit log.

NemoRouter is the layer between your application and every provider. One key, one bill, real cost control, guardrails in path, and multi-tenant isolation — with a platform fee of 4% / 2% / 0% by tier and no feature paywalls.

One bill, one key

One NEMOROUTER_API_KEY works for OpenAI, Anthropic, Vertex, Bedrock, and Azure. The API stays OpenAI-compatible so your existing SDK keeps working, and you get one invoice instead of N.

Spend you can trust

Credits use a reserve+settle pattern read straight from the x-nemo-request-cost response header — never estimated. RPM/TPM ceilings per key, team, and org. Monthly budgets with channel notifications. Platform fee always on top of credit purchases, never deducted. Per-model fallback chains evaluated per request, with a 5% canary / 20-min autonomous SLO rollback in front of every deploy.

Safety and isolation

A single UUID per tenant flows unchanged through every system, with row-level security on every Nemo table and virtual keys scoped at three levels (org → team → key). Supabase Auth — password, magic-link, OAuth — enforces single-org and single-team-per-user invariants in the database. Four roles (owner, admin, member, viewer), with SCIM + SSO on Enterprise.

Guardrails (content safety, PII redaction, keyword blocklist, prompt-injection) sit in path — blocked requests never spend credits or reach the provider. 90-day request logs fan out to Langfuse, Datadog, S3, or Slack in real time, plus an immutable admin audit log and a data policy that ranges from zero-log to full-with-PII-redaction.
