Credits, not subscriptions
Every tier ships the identical feature set — SSO, audit logs, guardrails, and dedicated support are never paywalled. Tiers differ on exactly two things: the platform fee and your guaranteed throughput. The fee is charged on top of your credit purchase, never skimmed out — buy $1,000 in credits, get $1,000 in credits.

The fee funds multi-tenancy, billing, governance, and one key across every provider, never the inference itself. The 5.5% figure is OpenRouter's published pay-as-you-go credit fee (June 2026); we cite the public rate, never invent one.

Is there a free trial?
Yes. Every new signup gets $5 in free credits for Azure models — no card required. Route requests, set up guardrails, invite teammates. When you run out, top up from $5 minimum on Pay As You Go to unlock the full catalog, or commit monthly/annually to drop the fee.
Is there a subscription fee?
No. Zero subscription cost. On the Monthly and Annual plans you commit to a minimum monthly or yearly credit purchase — but that entire amount lands in your credit balance. It's prepaid credits, not a fee. You can commit above the minimum at any time.
Can I increase my credit commitment?
Yes. The amounts shown ($100/mo on Monthly, $1,200/yr on Annual) are minimums. Choose any higher amount — $150/mo, $2,000/yr, whatever matches your usage. The full amount goes to credits, and you keep the lower platform fee.
What exactly is the platform fee?
A small percentage added on top when you purchase credits — it is never taken out of the credits themselves. Standard rates: Pay As You Go is 4%, Monthly ($100+/mo commitment) is 2%, Annual ($1,200+/yr commitment) is 0%, Enterprise is custom. During the launch promo every plan is 0%, locked for life for accounts created in the window. Compare to OpenRouter's 5.5% pay-as-you-go markup.
Can I upgrade or downgrade anytime?
Yes. Upgrades are instant — your new fee rate applies immediately and unused credits carry over. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing cycle.
What happens when my credits run out?
API requests pause until you top up. Enable auto-topup to automatically replenish your balance when it drops below a threshold — so your services are never interrupted.
Is there a price match guarantee?
Yes. If you find a lower price on any model from another LLM gateway, we'll match it — no questions asked. We're committed to being the most cost-effective gateway on the market.
What are RPM, TPM, and TPS guarantees?
RPM (requests per minute) and TPM (tokens per minute) set your per-key rate limits. TPS (transactions per second) is your sustained concurrent throughput. Pay As You Go gets 10 TPS, Monthly gets 50 TPS, Annual gets 200 TPS, Enterprise is fully custom. These are guaranteed minimums — actual capacity may be higher during low-traffic periods.
